Rockford should celebrate the fact that Washington is ranked 5th out of 1913 Illinois elementary schools, and should model all other schools after it as much as possible (it's not done with less students per teacher, or a brand new building). We should also translate #5 in Illinois into an accurate national figure. Very impressive accomplishment overlooked by many.
Dedicate time each day for your family and friends. Turn off all distractions and make those around you know that you see and hear them and truly care that they exist in your life!
